2024 Canadian Open Round 3 Saturday tee times and pairings
Ryan Fox finished with a 14-foot birdie putt late Friday afternoon, shooting a 6-under 64 to tie for the second-round lead with Robert MacIntyre at the RBC.


Fox finished the front nine at Hamilton Golf and Country Club with birdies on the par-5 fourth and par-4 fifth holes. He then bounced back from a bogey on the par-3 sixth with another birdie on the par-4 ninth. MacIntyre shot a 66 in the morning for his second consecutive bogey-free round. The 27-year-old Scottish left-hander has yet to win in 44 career PGA Tour starts, while the 37-year-old Kiwi Fox is also winless in 47 career PGA Tour starts.

The leaders were at 10-under 130 on the traditional layout. Joel Dahmen was in third place, trailing by two strokes after shooting a 65. The biggest surprise from the local players in the early rounds was Mackenzie Hughes, who had two eagles and two closing bogeys in a 64 to join first-round leader David Skinns and Andrew Novak at 7 under.
Defending champion Nick Taylor missed the cut with rounds of 72 and 71. Meanwhile, two-time Canadian Open champion Rory McIlroy was at 2 under, following a 66 on Thursday with a 72 while playing alongside Taylor.
