2024 Hero World Challenge: How to watch on TV, stream online
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler heads the 20-man field at the Tiger Woods-hosted tournament at Albany Golf Course in The Bahamas.
The 2024 PGA Tour season officially ended at the RSM Classic on November 24 but some of the world’s top golfing stars are dusting off their clubs to tee it up at this week’s Hero World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods at Albany Golf Course in The Bahamas between 5 and 8 December.
Although the Hero World Challenge is sanctioned by the PGA Tour, it doesn’t formally recognise the winner, and the tournament doesn’t carry FedEx Cup points or official money.
2024 Hero World Challenge: who’s playing?
World No.1 and defending champion Scottie Scheffler is the star attraction, although there are six major champions in the field, with Wyndham Clark, Keegan Bradley, Brian Harman, Justin Thomas and Jason Day also featuring.
Ludwig Aberg, ranked fifth in the world, and Patrick Cantlay, who is ninth, are also involved, although Tony Finau’s late withdrawal has fuelled rumours he may be set for a move to LIV Golf. Watch this space.

Is Tiger Woods playing in the Hero World Challenge?
Woods himself won’t be playing in the event, claiming he isn’t ”tournament sharp," but is expected to be a very visible host.

Since the move to The Bahamas, Viktor Hovaland has won twice (2021, 2022), with Jon Rahm, Hideki Matsuyama, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson and Henrik Stenson the other champions.
