2024 The Sentry: Round 4 Sunday tee times, pairings and featured groups
After Scottie Scheffler’s bad Round 3, Jordan Spieth and Akshay Bhatia are the only golfers at the Plantation Course to chase the solo leader, Chris Kirk.
Chris Kirk, the experienced American golfer, has taken the lead at The Sentry 2024 tournament after the third round with an impressive score of under 21. He played a fantastic round of 66 on Saturday, January 6, which helped him to climb four places on the leaderboard. Overall, Kirk played three rounds of 67, 65, and 66, displaying an exceptional mindset at the season tournament opener and leading him to secure the top spot on the scoreboard with a one-stroke lead over Akshay Bhatia.
However, second-round leader Scottie Scheffler strumbled and slipped down five positions on the leaderboard, settling for a score of under 18. On the other hand, Tyrrell Hatton, who was placed second on Friday after an outstanding second round, faced some difficulties in maintaining his composure in the third round. Unfortunately, Hatton fell twelve spots on the leaderboard, ending up in T14.
The golfers have competed fiercely in the first three rounds of The Sentry 2024 tournament, and the leaderboard has been altering rapidly. The third round brought some surprises, with Kirk taking the lead, Scheffler falling behind, and Hatton struggling to maintain his position. However, with one more round to go, anything can happen, and we can’t wait to see who will win at the Kapalua Resort’s famous Plantation Course.
