Updated Wells Fargo Championship tee times: Round 1 tee times and pairings
The Wells Fargo tournament is underway after a rain delay on Thursday at Quail Hollow in Charlotte. Golf’s best players are here, except Scheffler.
The Wells Fargo Championship, the latest signature event on the PGA Tour schedule, is set to begin on Thursday at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. The defending champion, Wyndham Clark, will be looking for his second win of the year. All of the Tour’s biggest names, except Scottie Scheffler, awaiting the birth of his first child, are in the field.
The tournament is expected to be exceptional, as 70 of the world’s top players will attend. This is a signature elevated event, meaning it is a limited-field tournament with increased prize money and FedExCup points (700 points to the winner). The purse for the 2024 Wells Fargo Championship is $20 million, with $3.6 million going to the winner.
