Update:

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will look to defend his 2024 title at the Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina against a loaded field of most of the best golfers in the world. Reigning Masters champion Rory McIlroy will not be in the field, but Scheffler will have to face the likes of Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.

The PGA will be conducting an experiment this week to see if the use of range finders helps speed up pace of play. “We’ve been using it at the PGA the last couple years, haven’t we? Is it going to help pace of play? Maybe a few minutes. Will it be anything significant? No,” Scheffler said.

The RBC Heritage is a signature event, which means it’s a reduced field of 72 players, there will be no cut on Friday and the purse is $20 million. The winner will walk away $3.6 million richer and with 700 FedEx Cup points as well as a two-year PGA Tour exemption.

All tee tiems times are Eastern Time (ET) and all players will start on the first hole.
