Premium course
Bethpage Black is one of the most famous and challenging public golf courses in the world, renowned for its difficulty and status as “The People’s Country Club.”
The most iconic feature is the plaque on the first tee that reads: “Warning: The Black Course Is An Extremely Difficult Course Which We Recommend Only For Highly Skilled Golfers.” This is not a deterrent, but an accurate description of the test that awaits.

Despite being a public, municipal course that gets significant play, the course is known for being remarkably well-conditioned, with plush fairways and fast greens.
