Update:

After just over two weeks, 116 medal events across 16 disciplines and 8 sports, Milano Cortina 2026 - the 25th edition of the Olympic Winter Games, reaches its climax on Sunday night.

The action concludes with four finals: Bobsleigh, Cross-country skiing, Women’s Curling and fittingly, the men’s Ice Hockey gold medal game between Team USA and Canada.

After that, the curtain will come down on Milano Cortina 2026 with all competing athletes congregating at the historic, 2,000-year-old amphitheater Verona Arena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for the Closing Ceremony.

Sunday’s Closing Ceremony will “weave together music, art, and the pure spirit of sport, celebrating unity and the enduring bonds between athletes and nations”.

Italian singer-songwriter Achille Lauro, ballet dancer Roberto Bolle, actress Benedetta Porcaroli and DJ/producer Gabry Ponte have been confirmed as acts who will be taking to the stage.
