The PGA TOUR’s Florida swing is underway, and the Arnold Palmer Invitational, presented by Mastercard, is being held at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge. This tournament is one of three player-hosted invitationals, the other being Tiger Woods’ The Genesis Invitational and Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial Tournament presented by Workday.

Scottie Scheffler, currently ranked as the world number one, is partaking in the tournament this week. He has had an excellent record in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, finishing T4-1-T15 in his last three starts, and has not finished worse than T17 in his last five TOUR starts, including three consecutive top-10 finishes. Yesterday, he had an impressive round, making a late charge and surging up the leaderboard to share the lead with a 5-under par round of 67. He had an outstanding putting performance, especially with the putter on the back nine. This marks his fifth 36-hole leader co-lead in the last 11 months on the tour.

On the first page of the leaderboard, six players are currently tied for the lead, all carding an impressive seven-under-par. Among them are Matsuyama, Clark, Lowry, Henley, and Harman. Will Zalatoris also made a notable return following a back injury, displaying his resilience on the course. Meanwhile, Jaeger delivered one of the standout performances of the day, further igniting the excitement among fans and spectators for the German pro.

Early rounds saw Justin Thomas in action, notching a respectable 71. As the tournament progresses, and in Round 3, all eyes are on page two, where a plethora of winners are poised to make their move and shake up the leaderboard.
