The Australian Open attendants and tennis fans will be able to see number one seed Novak Djokovic in action again for a ticket to the quarterfinals.
It won’t just be another match in the Rod Laver Arena, as he will be facing the local and electric Alex De Miñaur in what promises to be a mouthwatering clash.
The future of tennis seems to be in good hands and the fact that there are still quite a few rising stars at this stage of the competition proves that. Two of them, Ben Shelton and J.J. Wolf, will battle it out to keep progressing in the tournament in an interesting all-American clash.
In the women’s bracket, one of the favorites to win the trophy, Aryna Sabalenka, will play against Belinda Bencic, while teen rising star Linda Fruhvirtova will try to keep marching towards the title when she faces Croatian player Donna Vekic.
On Day 7, probably the standout player so far, Jiri Lehecka, pulled off the upset against talented Canadian Feliz Auger-Aliassime, while Sebastian Korda beat Hubert Hurkacz in five sets.
In the women’s category, two of the favorite players to lift the title, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, were kicked out of the tournament by Elena Rybakina and Jelena Ostapenko, respectively.
