Beau Greaves makes history: becoming first woman to score a nine-darter on the PDC Pro circuit

British darts sensation Beau Greaves just carved her name into the sport’s history books. On Wednesday, she became the first woman ever to hit a perfect nine‑dart finish in a Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) event — the fastest and most flawless leg possible in the 501 format.

Greaves achieved the milestone during her second round match against Austrian veteran Mensur Suljovic at the sixth Players Championship event.

She opened with a blistering 180, followed immediately by a second 180, leaving just 141 to close. Then came the magic: triple‑20, triple‑19, double‑12 — perfection.

Suljovic responded with pure sportsmanship, bowing to acknowledge the historic moment, while Greaves was visibly emotional, shaking her head in joyous disbelief after sealing the achievement.

Still buzzing afterward, Greaves admitted she couldn’t wait to share the moment with her family. “I can’t stop smiling. I can’t wait to tell my dad — even though I know he was watching!” she said.

This is just the latest milestone in what’s becoming a groundbreaking career. Greaves recently came close to winning the PDC World Youth Championship, defeating Luke Littler in the semifinals before falling to Gian Van Veen in the final. Her trajectory makes one thing clear: she’s not done making history.
