Kell Brook predicts the Crawford-Spence Jr. fight winner

Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. will finally fight on July 29 and Kell Brook, who face both of them, gives his take on who will get his hand raised.

The time has come. After years of waiting for a super fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr for supremacy at welterweight, fans will finally witness one of the most anticipated fights in recent boxing history.

Both fighters will meet in the ring as undefeated champions, with Crawford as the WBO titleholder and Spence Jr. having the WBA, IBF, and WBC belts.

With such a huge fight coming up, everyone has a verdict on who will emerge victorious, although this is, without a doubt, one of the most even bouts over the last years, if not the most, given both fighters’ world-class skills.

While Bud is the more versatile and unorthodox fighter and masters the art of counterpunching, The Truth possesses one of the best jabs in the business and his relentless pressure usually makes the difference in his fights.

Who wins? Brook has the answer

If someone can offer an accurate prediction on the 147-pound unification showdown that will take place in Las Vegas on July 29, that’s Kell Brook.

The former IBF welterweight champion fought both men so he had the chance of analyzing Crawford and Spence inside the ring. When asked about a prediction in a considered 50/50 fight, Brook sees Crawford edging it.

“I think, after seeing their fight, [Shawn] Porter and Crawford, you’ve gotta lean towards Crawford now”, he said to Fight Hype.

But styles make fights, Spence is a natural southpaw. So it’ll be very interesting, everyone will still tune in, but I think the way he dealt with Porter, I think you have to start leaning towards Crawford, just because of Spence’s car crash, he had problems with his retina in his eye”, he added.

The Brit boxer was first stopped by Spence Jr. in 2017 in the 11th round, although he was ahead on the scorecards in the early rounds. Four years later, Brook faced the Omaha native, losing via TKO in the fourth round in a bout where the WBO welterweight title was on the line.
