CrossFit Games 2022 Day 4: results and leaderboard
Day 4 of the CrossFit Games 2022 ended with a change in the men’s leaderboard. Ricky Garard slipped to second place and Justin Medeiros is now on top.
Day 4 of the CrossFit Games 2022 has ended and there’s been a change in the men’s leaderboard. After three days in the lead, Ricky Garard of Australia slipped to second place, while Justin Medeiros of the US is now at the top spot.
Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr has solidified her hold on the number one position and now leads Mallory O’Brien by almost a hundred points. She is well on her way to winning her sixth CrossFit Games title.
The individual events were Rinse N’ Repeat (50-yard swim, 8-calorie Ski Erg), Hat Trick (sprint, 20 wall-ball shots, 6 dumbbell snatches), and Sandbag Ladder (1-rep-max sandbag to shoulder).
CrossFit Mayhem Freedom sweeps Day 4
The heavy favorites to win the team competition, CrossFit Mayhem Freedom, completely dominated the day and won all events, just as they did on Day 3. However, CrossFit Reykjavik and CrossFit Selwyn are not far behind.
The team events were Rinse N’ Repeat, Dumbbell Highball (42-ft. DB OH walking lunge, 10 DB clean and jerks, 30 wall-ball shots), and Payload (double-under, tumbler pull, Jerry can carry, Husafell bag carry, Big Bob push).
Day 7 is the last day of competition.
