De la Hoya challenges Canelo Alvarez: “That fight is inevitable for both boxers”
Saúl Canelo Álvarez continues in search of his next rival in the face of Bivol’s refusal, and Óscar de la Hoya puts the name for his next rival.
The Mexican Jaime Munguía defeated Sergey Derevyanchenko by unanimous decision and is emerging as a possible opponent for Saúl ‘Canelo’ ‘Alvarez.
Óscar de la Hoya, from Golden Boy Promotions, pointed out that Jaime Munguía could be one of Canelo’s rivals.
“That fight is inevitable,” De La Hoya said.
The only drawback is that Canelo has recently turned down fighting Mexican boxers.

For his part, Jaime Munguía said he was happy with the victory achieved this weekend.
“I am very happy with the fight. It was a great win, we made some mistakes, but we’re still here unbeaten. I am very happy with the decision; it took me a lot of effort to achieve it.
It was tough, but we were able to catch him and hurt him in the 10th round, and then we knocked him down in the 12th. I think we finally got the win, thanks to my training. We train very hard in the gym. Obviously, it is not the same in the gym as it is in the ring, but we are always working hard, always trying to improve”, said the Mexican.
