Devils vs. Rangers

The New York Rangers and the New Jersey Devils are engaged in a friendly rivalry during the NHL playoffs’ first round, which is becoming increasingly intense. In their latest match-up, New Jersey emerged victorious with a score of 3:1, resulting in a tied total score of 2:2.

Hughes from the Devils wasted no time and scored a goal after only two minutes and fifty seconds at the legendary Madison Square Garden, giving his team the lead. The rest of the game was a hard-fought battle until Trocheck scored and tied the game at 1:1 just two minutes into the final period.

However, the deciding goal was made by the Swiss player, Jonas Siegenthaler, during the middle of the third period, much to the delight of the energetic crowd. Palat further sealed the deal with an empty net goal, ultimately securing the victory for New Jersey.

Maple Leafs vs. Lightning

Toronto beat Tampa in Florida again after overtime, this time 5:4, and now leads the series 3:1. Kerfoot scored the deciding goal after four minutes and 14 seconds of extra time.

The Maple Leafs made a real mess even before that because they were losing 4:1 at the entrance to the last quarter. However, Matthews, with two goals, and Riley brought them a tie at the end of the regular part, which they converted in overtime into three match points to advance to the next stage.
