Dustin Johnson net worth: Is ‘DJ’ playing at the 2023 Masters Tournament?
One of the high-profile players to jump over to LIV Golf, Dustin Johnson’s return to Augusta has not been without comment from the golf world.
After missing the cut in 2021, Dustin Johnson will be returning to Augusta this year for his 13th Masters appearance. As a past champion, that is to be expected. But after DJ visibly jumped ship and defected over to LIV Golf, it has not gone without notice that he has been invited back.
Many wonder if this latest development signals the end, or perhaps the beginning of the end, of the feud between the PGA and LIV Golf. With Cam Smith and Dustin Johnson both jumping ship and now being invited back, no longer can you say, “Oh all of those LIV golfers are washed up anyway. Just has-beens who nobody cares about.” These are two of the most recent champions who have won at the majors, then left, and they represent the current generation and even the future of the PGA Tour.
Dustin Johnson’s success
Dustin Johnson is one of the most successful golfers of the last five years, spending over 130 weeks ranked number one in the world. He has held that position at some point in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, only dipping off the top of the rankings when he joined LIV in 2022.
How much is Dustin Johnson worth?
As of 2023, Dustin Johnson has a net worth of an estimated $100 million. This comes in the form of around $5 million per year in salary from his golf winnings, plus another $11 million in endorsement earnings.
He has deals with TaylorMade, Hublot, Adidas, Body Armour, and Perfect Practice, among others and over the course of his career has pulled in around $68 million on the links.

In his first season with LIV Golf, he pocketed around $35 million from the deal.
