Ex-UFC champion will retire if he can’t KO Logan Paul

Logan Paul has made himself a name in the fighting industry, especially in the WWE, but things may end abruptly, according to an MMA fighter.

Update:
Logan Paul has made himself a name in the fighting industry, especially in the WWE, but things may end abruptly, according to an MMA fighter.

The Paul brothers have been in the headlines for the last few years for showcasing attractive fights against other Youtube stars, athletes well past their prime, or retired fighters.

While not many people gave them credit enough in their incursion into the fighting world, the two social media celebrities have managed quite well.

Jake Paul has won all of his boxing fights so far and his brother Jake has gone toe-to-toe with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. and has been performing in quite a few WWE events.

However, there are many professional fighters, boxers and mixed martial arts artists, who have been calling them out to prove that in the fighting industry there are levels and that both Paul brothers, especially Jake, have been cherry-picking their opponents till now.

Knocking out Logan Paul, a must for an ex-UFC champion

Many fighters have publicly admitted they want to fight any of both Paul brothers for two main reasons: because they believe they can easily get their hand raised and because it would provide them with a good amount of money. And former UFC champion Luke Rockhold is no stranger to that.

The MMA artist, 38, seems very serious about the idea of fighting Logan inside a boxing ring. Rockhold has promised to retire from fighting “for good” if he can’t knock out Logan Paul in a potential boxing match.

The former middleweight champion, 38, negotiated his UFC release in January despite having quite a few fights left on his contract and is keen on competing in other promotions and fighting Internet celebs, like, in this case, both Logan and his brother Jake.

“If I don’t knock him out, I’ll retire,” Rockhold said to Inside Fighting.

“I’ll retire for good. I mean, that’s done but, I’m putting my hands together. If I don’t knock Logan Paul out cold, I’d be f****ng out. I’m out, I guarantee it. I’d be f****** devastated, but, that ain’t gonna happen”, he added.

Rockhold, who said he would like to fight in a boxing ring next, hasn’t won a fight in five years, losing to Yoel Romero, Jan Blachowicz, and Paulo Costa.
