Floyd Mayweather retired from boxing in 2017 with a record of 50 wins (27 by KO) and no losses. But he has not completely gotten out of the ring. On Sunday, Sept. 25, he will participate in an exhibition match with Mijuru Asakura, an MMA fighter, at the Saitana Super Arena in Japan.

Aside from being a boxer, Mayweather is also promoter, and so he wants to continue offering shows to fans of the sport.

The 45-year-old was world champion in the super featherweight, lightweight, super lightweight, welterweight and superwelterweight divisions, and did not lose a single one of his fights. In 2017 he beat Conor McGregor, the superstar of the UFC, and since then, Money Mayweather has stepped into the ring three times for exhibition fights. The first was with Tenshin Nasukawa, a kickboxer, in Japan, and then fought Logan Paul in Miami. The last one was against Don Moore, a retired boxer, in Dubai in May this year.

Now he’s back to face MMA fighter Mijuru Asakura. Mayweather doesn’t want to leave boxing behind, and this Sunday we’ll be able to enjoy another of his fights, albeit an exhibition one.
