Floyd Mayweather is back to give fans some boxing excitement. He will face undefeated Don Moore in an eight-round exhibition clash on Saturday, on the helipad of a hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mayweather-Moore press conference in Nigeria

In the final press conference before the fight, the boxing icon-turned-promoter talked about his relationship with his opponent, who used to be his sparring partner.

“Don Moore, as well as Badou Jack (a former training partner), we trained in the gym together. When they were younger than I was, I was already a professional. So I turned professional in 1996, I come from a boxing family, had a great career. But it’s not all about me, it’s about all of us as one,” said Mayweather.

The two fighters exhibited respect for one another, and both promised a good show.

Moore also has no losses on his record (18-0-1), and like Mayweather, he has also retired. He last fought against DeShaun Williams in 2016.
