‘The Gipsy King’ believes the Ukrainian boxer will get his hand raised when he meets the former heavyweight champion in Saudi Arabia.

The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated boxing bouts of 2022, as the rematch between the heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua for the IBF, WBA, and WBO belts will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on August 20th.

Many boxing experts and fighters are already making their predictions about the fight and one of them is Tyson Fury. He believes Usyk will get his hand raised again despite Joshua looking pretty motivated to retake control of the heavyweight division.

Usyk and Joshua faced each other for the first time last September in front of 65,000 fans inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and ‘The Cat’ got away with a surprising win via unanimous decision.

There will be some “begging” for a Fury-Usyk bout

Fury sees the former undisputed cruiserweight king as the fighter that will come out on top in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, ruining the dreams of many boxing fans in a Joshua-Fury megafight for the undisputed heavyweight title.

“AJ is going to lose again, then they’ll call for Achilles to come back. And then, when they are begging, I will return, but it’s going to be very costly”, said Fury.

Meanwhile, if Joshua -who hired boxing trainer Robert Garcia to get ready for the rematch- loses the fight, he might not be perceived as a top-level heavyweight any longer and will probably have to build his way to a title shot again.
