Gervonta Davis vs Lamont Roach purse money: How much will they make and how will they split it?
‘Tank’ will defend his WBA lightweight title against Lamont Roach at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Saturday. Here are the monetary prizes in play.

Gervonta Davis (30-0-0, 28 KOs) and Lamont Roach (25-1-1, 10 KOs) met several times during their amateur careers but this weekend, they will face each other professionally for the first time - and with a title on the line.
At Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Davis will be defending his WBA lightweight title. The Baltimore-born southpaw is one of the top fighters on the planet, known for his knockout power. He’s undefeated, having won his last two fights by KO (against Ryan Garcia and Frank Martin) and will defend his crown with everything he’s got.

Tank Davis compliments opponent Lamont Roach
“It’s showtime now. All the talking and all the work put in. Come Saturday night, it’s gonna be a great fight - Lamont coming with his best, I’m coming with my best - even on the undercard, we’ve got great talent fighting on the card,” Davis told reporters ahead of the bout.
Roach repaid the compliment, by saying, “That let’s me know he’s 100 percent focused. He’s attentive, he’s aware. He’s here for a reason, he do what he’s supposed to do with the guy that’s in front of him. He’s got good skills - obviously he’s got good power and he’s got a good boxing IQ. All that put together makes for a good championship fighter”.
Back in December, Davis confirmed that he will retire from the ring this year. “After next year, I’m out of this... Out of the sport,” he told Fight Hub TV. “It’s trash... This stuff is trash, trash... Tired. Tired of all this crap”.

Davis vs Roach: how will the purse be split?
So Saturday’s bout in Brooklyn will one one of Tank’s last big pay days. The official purse won’t be revealed until after the fight but comparing what he took home in previous events, it is estimated that he could earn around $10 million including PPV bonuses.
Roach earned $200,000 in his last fight - a TKO win against Feargal McCrory in June last year. The Reaper is likely to have a similar deal this time but his fee will be boosted considerably by PPV.
