Everybody loves a road trip, right? Might I suggest Guadalajara, Mexico for this Cinco de Mayo? The food, the culture, and oh yeah, one of the biggest names in world boxing in his homecoming fight against the WBO champion.

Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez, the king of the super middleweight division aims to stake his claim to being undisputed as he takes on British WBO interim World Super Middleweight champion John “the Gorilla” Ryder in Estadio Akron, the home of Mexican soccer giants Chivas.

Canelo will be putting his WBA, WBC, IBF & WBO super-middleweight world titles on the line as he fights for the first time in nearly 12 years in his home country. Additionally, this is the first fight that he will have fought since undergoing hand surgery.

The average price for tickets on offer is around $179, with the range being from $50 up to $250 for most seats. Floor seats are going for $4000 on StubHub.

Tickets are on sale now and are expected to sell out fast, with everyone in Mexico desperate to see Canelo on his home turf.

Apart from StubHub, you can buy tickets from Ticketmaster and other resellers such as Vivid, Viagogo, and TicketSmarter.
