How much does it cost to play at the Innisbrook Resort Copperhead golf course?
The Valspar Championship is underway at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor (Florida).
Day 2 of the 2024 Valspar Championship is underway at the Copperhead Course with Kevin Streelman the overnight leader coming into Friday with a 7-under-par 64 that gave him a one-stroke lead after the first round.
Seeking his first win on the PGA Tour in nearly 10 years, the 45-year-old Streelman sank three birdies on the back nine to start his day, then added four more over his second half in a bogey-free round at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course.
Seven players were tied for sixth at 67 after Thursday’s action while Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele were among those tied for 13th after first-round 68s.
Jordan Spieth (69) finished the day in 28th, while Brian Harman (70) is tied with several others in 48th.
Besides Schauffele and Harman, other recognizable names in the field include Jordan Spieth, Sam Burns, Keegan Bradley, Tony Finau and Justin Thomas. Spieth tied for third at the Valspar last year and won it in 2015, while Burns notched back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022 before placing sixth in 2023.
Thomas missed the cut at The Players and dipped to No. 28 in the world rankings. Like Schauffele, Thomas is searching for his first victory since mid-2022, when he captured the PGA Championship.
“I think this is a ball-striker’s course,” said Thomas, who has a T3 and two T10 finishes at the Valspar. “You have to be in good control of your golf ball. I feel like that’s something that’s helped me in the past, but it’s just a strength of my game, so that’s why I like it.
“In terms of the course, I don’t remember seeing the rough this long in the past, maybe ever.”

Unitil the conclusion of the tournament on Sunday evening, a full Golf Membership can be bought with a reduced Initiation fee special of $25,000, which represents a total saving of $20,000 on the full fee of $45,000 for non-condominium owners on the site. A monthly fee of $705 is also applicable for those deep-pocketed and anxious to play on the Florida PGA Tour course.
There is also a special tariff aimed at the younger golfer (and limited to 100 players) which sees an annual signing-on fee of $12,000 and a monthly rate of $384 for those aged 25-39.
