Scottie Scheffler confirmed his status at the world’s number one golfer as a dominant final round at Augusta National earned him his second major at the 2024 Masters. The following week he won again at the RBC Heritage.

Less than a month after becoming the first player to win back-to back at The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, Scheffler was awarded his second green jacket in three years thanks to an almost faultless back nine in Georgia.

Yet another victory continues Scheffler’s superb start to the 2024 season. In ten events so far this year, the New Jersey native has only once failed to finish inside the top 10 (a tie for 17th at the American Express in January) and has won FOUR times. Each of those victories have come in his last five events, with a tie for second in the other.

How much has Scheffler earned in 2024?

Scheffler is the world’s No. 1 for a reason and he proved that once again at the Masters. Besides lifting the prestigious trophy, he earned an important sum of money.

The 27-year-old talent received a $3.6 million cash prize back to back at the Masters and RBC Heritage, an amount that has helped him reach nearly $18.7 million for the 2024 season on the PGA Tour.

His victory at the RBC Heritage brought his career earnings total to over $85 million, with almost $60 million coming from official tournaments, according to Spotrac.

Scheffler’s caddy earns more than Rory McIlroy

A very graphic way to show how impressive Scheffler’s 2024 earnings are is to take a look at how much his caddy Ted Scott is making on the PGA Tour this term.

It has been a prolific few weeks for Scheffler, but also for his caddy. Caddies usually earn 10 perecent of a player’s winning prize money so, in that case, Scheffler’s recent victories will have seen Scott earn $1.71 million in the last six weeks.

While it might seem like little money compared to Scheffler’s earnings, the reality says the contrary. Scott has earned more money than Rory McIlroy on the PGA Tour in 2024.

The current world No. 2, who has yet to win a tournament, has earned $1.71 million from his eight PGA Tour appearances this year.
