How much prize money did Ludvig Aberg win at The Genesis Invitational 2025?
Swedish star Aberg pipped Maverick McNealy to win his second PGA Tour title at Torrey Pines Golf Course in California.

Ludvig Aberg was the seventh winner of the 2025 PGA Tour season thanks to a dramatic victory at the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines Golf Course in California.
The 25-year-old went into Sunday’s fourth round two shots behind third-round leader Patrick Rodgers but made his way to the top of the leaderboard thanks to three successive birdies on 13, 14 and 15, and a final flourish on 18.
Maverick McNealy, who had started his round earlier, had looked on course to claim a second PGA Tour victory after playing his opening 13 holes in 9-under par, but paid the price for a disappointing finish.

Aberg eventually carded an 6-under 66 to finish the tournament on 12-under, one shot ahead of McNealy.
Scheffler and McIlroy come up short
After an out-of-character 76 on Saturday, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler moved himself back onto the fringes of contention in the early stages of round four, but dropped shots on the back nine ultimately left him with too much work to do as he finished third.
Rory McIlroy, who won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am two weeks ago, ended in a tie for 17th, nine shots off the top of the leaderboard.
The victory is Aberg’s second ever on the PGA Tour after he triumphed at the 2023 RSM Classic, the final event of the 2023 season.
How much prize money does Aberg get for winning at Torrey Pines?
As one of the PGA Tour’s eight Signature Events, there was a $20 million total prize purse on offer.
As the winner, Aberg will take home $4 million for his efforts of the four days, by far the biggest payday of his career.
What is the next event on the 2025 PGA Tour?
The next event on the PGA Tour is the Mexico Open, which runs from Thursday, February 20 to Sunday, February 23.
The tour then moves to Florida, which will host the following four tournaments, the first of which is the Cognizant Classic (March 2 to March 5).
