The 2023 Irish Open has a total prize purse of $6 million. Rory McIlroy, Billy Horschel, Shane Lowry and Min Woo Lee were competing for the trophy in County Kildare on Sunday, but it was Vincent Norrman who came out on top, finishing with a 14 under.
McIlroy was eventually unable to catch the leaders after shooting a triple bogey 8 on the 16th. Irishman Shane Lowry finished with a respectable 12 under.
Norrman, 25, will take home $1,020,000 after his success at The K Club on Sunday.
