The winner of the Charles Schwab Challenge will receive 50 Official World Golf Ranking points and 500 FedEx Cup points, in addition to the prize money. Last week’s Major championship had more points on offer than the current scenario, indicating a significant fall.

In addition to the title, the golf tournament winner will receive a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour and an exemption into next year’s Tournament of Champions.

But how much money does the winner of the Charles Schwab Challenge make?

The PGA Tour’s prize money distribution chart indicates that the champion of the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge will receive a cash prize of $1,566,000. The payout for the total prize is 18 percent, which is the standard amount.

The second-place finisher in the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge will receive a monetary prize of $948,300. The golfer who finishes in third place will receive a prize of $600,300, whereas the golfer who comes in fourth place will be awarded $426,300. The event includes a 36-hole cut. Based on the cut, the prize money will be distributed among the top 65 players and those who are tied on the final leaderboard.
