How much prize money does the winner get at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic?

With the PGA Tour now headed to Michigan for the Rocket Mortgage Classic, which will tee off on Thursday, June 29, at the Detroit Golf Club.

Although not one of the PGA’s designated events, the field is nevertheless a strong one, and the deepest in it’s history with 34 of the top 100 ranked players taking part.

In this post-merger time between the PGA and LIV, it is perhaps noteworthy that this PGA tournament will follow the traditional cut for payouts. This was one of the major points of contention brought up by players who jumped ship for LIV Golf in the past and may be one of the things to keep an eye on in this brave new partnership.

There is a total purse of $8.8 million with the winner taking the largest bite of the apple at $1.584 million.
