The Mexico Open at Vidanta is a tournament that is being held by the PGA Tour from February 22nd to 25th this year. This is the only time this season that the PGA Tour will be held south of the Texas and New Mexico border. The event has been moved up a few months on the calendar compared to last year when it was held at the end of April. This tournament is not a PGA Tour signature event; thus, many top golfers are skipping it.

Despite some of the sport’s biggest stars not participating, the defending champion, Tony Finau, will be present at the tournament. Finau is known for his impressive performance in the last season and is favored to win again this year with +800 odds. If the Utah native does manage to win, it will be his second consecutive victory in this tournament.

The winner’s share for the Mexico Open at Vidanta is $1,458,000, with the total prize money purse set to $8.1 million.
