Serena Williams’ storied tennis career is approaching its end.

On Monday, the 40-year-old tennis player confirmed she has set a definitive date to call it quits in an article for Vogue magazine.

But first, the winner of 23 Grand Slams will star in a farewell tour of sorts, commencing at the National Bank Open in Toronto, and ending with what will be her final Grand Slam event, and possibly final tournament ever, at the 2022 US Open in New York.

“I’m the world’s worst at goodbyes”

Williams shared in the article that she wasn’t ready to win Wimbledon this year, and isn’t ready to win New York either, but she’s “going to try.” As much as she knows a victory before her departure is a great “fan fantasy,” the 40-year-old said she’s not looking for some ceremonial grand moment. She even said she believes she’s “the world’s worst” at goodbyes.

But even with that, Williams’ fans all over the globe will attempt to get a glimpse of greatness during her final matches in Toronto, Cincinnati and New York. And that’s why we, here at AS USA, are bringing you an overview of the remaining tournaments of the world’s most dominant tennis player, including dates, times, and how to watch.
