After an eight-month break, Jake Paul used his social media accounts to announce that he is returning on 13 August against a to-be-determined rival.

The last time Jake Paul fought was in the rematch against Tyron Woodley on 18 December 2021 and he is ready to return to the ring after an eight-month break. Paul used his social media to announce that he will return on 13 August against a to-be-determined rival.

“I’m back. August 13th.”

The announcement came following the fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano on 30 April, a fight Jake Paul was a co-promoter of. The social media star didn’t give any information regarding his possible opponent but a third fight against Woodley seems unlikely.

Jake Paul has been under constant criticism for becoming a fighter and many have said that he is not a real boxer, so the social media star wants to silence his critics once and for all after not having convincing performances in his first two fights against Woodley.

Regardless of the criticism, he has a record of 5-0 and four of his wins have been via knockout. Also, Jake Paul has only gone past two rounds in two of his five fights, which were the two split decision wins over Woodley first in Cleveland and then in Tampa.
