Jake Paul vs Nate Díaz undercard: Complete list of fights before the main event

On Saturday, August 5th, all eyes will be on the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas for the bout between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz but there’s a selection of great fights on the card including an undisputed title fight. Let’s take a look at the list.

The Breakdown: Jake Paul, Nate Diaz & The Fight Card

When they meet on Saturday night, Jake Paul will look to add another UFC scalp to his list. Indeed, the so-called ‘Problem Child’ will be taking on an icon of the MMA world and a man many consider to be the best fighter never to win a title, Nate Diaz. The buildup to the bout has been everything that fight fans have hoped for so far. We’ve seen Paul accusing Diaz of not doing enough to promote the fight, we’ve seen Diaz walk out of a sit-down, and most recently we’ve seen the security teams for each fighter engage in a massive brawl. This is all to say that this one has the makings of an all-out war.

Yet, while the two men will be headlining the action in Dallas, there is an impressive lineup of fights on the card for the night including an undisputed title fight. That’s right, the undisputed women’s featherweight championship is also at stake on Saturday night, with Amanda Serrano defending her crown against Heather Hardy in a rematch from their 2019 encounter. Hardy has only competed once since losing to Serrano four years ago in an unsuccessful bid against Jessica Camara. Serrano on the other hand, has gone 7-1 in that time frame losing only to undisputed women’s lightweight champion Katie Taylor. Something tells us this one is going to be brutal.
