LIV Golf will return for its second season, and the first event of the year will take place this weekend at El Camaleon Golf Course in Mayakoba, Mexico. The tournament will begin on Friday, Feb. 24, and end on Sunday, Feb. 26.

Where can I watch the Mexican leg of LIV Golf’s 2023 season?

LIV has made an agreement with The CW network for its television broadcast. The second and third rounds will be aired on The CW, while all the rounds will be available on The CW app, which will need a login or subscription to watch.

How to watch LIV Golf’s first tournament for 2023

  • Dates: Thursday, Feb. 24 to Sunday, Feb. 26
  • Venue: El Camaleon Golf Course, Mayakoba, Mexico

What is the prize money for LIV Golf’s Mexico tournament?

The Mexico competition, just like the other 13 LIV Golf events of 2023, will have a purse of $25 million, $20 million of which will go to the individual event. The team event purse is $5 million. This year there will be 14 instead of eight events for the season.

Who are the players included in the field?

LIV Golf’s sophomore year will introduce new faces into the roster of players, including Sebastian Muñoz of Colombia, Thomas Pieters of Belgium, and Mito Pereira of Chile.

However, none of the LIV golfers will receive Official World Golf Ranking points for their participation in the Saudi-backed league’s debut in Mexico.The OWGR has not rejected the application of LIV Golf for recognition outright, but has asked the organization for more information as they deliberate on whether they will consider them an established tour from which players can earn ranking points.
