All eyes are on Augusta, as the Masters Tournament tees off on Thursday, April 7. The first major event for professional golf players is eagerly awaited, especially after news that Tiger Woods is staging a comeback a little more than a year after he suffered serious injuries that almost caused his leg to be amputated.

Major players’ shakeup

The tournament features some of the best golfers in the world, and the outlook for the competition is up in the air. Defending champion Hideki Matsuyama is dealing with a neck injury, while three-time Masters champion Phil Mickelson will not be in attendance for the first time in nearly three decades.

With all these developments, golf fans will be have a lot of action to look forward to over the four days that the event will run. ESPN and CBS are collaborating to deliver hours of live coverage, so that viewers will not have to miss any part of the Masters.

How to watch Masters Tournament 2022

ESPN will be broadcasting the first two days of the competition, with coverage beginning at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT. CBS takes over on Saturday for the weekend’s rounds. Saturday coverage also begins at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT, but on Sunday, CBS will broadcast the final round that starts at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT.
