Miami Open: who plays today, Friday 29 March? Men’s singles semi-finals, times, TV and streaming
Following his unexpected quarter-final win over Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov is among those in action at the 2024 Miami Open today.
After the Bulgarian’s surprise win over top seed Carlos Alcaraz, Grigor Dimitrov faces Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals of the 2024 Miami Open men’s singles today.
Dimitrov, seeded 11th in Florida, stunned Alcaraz in the quarter-finals on Thursday, earning a straight-sets victory over the Spaniard (6-2, 6-4). Zverev, meanwhile, beat Hungary’s Fábián Marozsán 6-3, 7-5.
Before Dimitrov and Zverev go head to head, defending champion Daniil Medvedev meets Jannick Sinner in the men’s singles’ other last-four match. The clash will be a repeat of last year’s Miami Open final, which saw Medvedev triumph 7-5, 6-3.
Medvedev and Sinner both enjoyed two-set wins in the quarters, seeing off Chile’s Nicolás Jarry and the Czech Tomás Machác, respectively.
