Update:

The mission was complicated, but in the end logic prevailed. Naoya Inoue had no trouble defeating Alan David Picasso, retaining his WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO super bantamweight titles. The Mexican managed to last the full 12 rounds, but the Japanese fighter’s victory was decisive.

Inoue dominated the fight from start to finish. Although “The Monster” did not score a knockout, he secured a clear and comprehensive win. After 12 rounds, the judges delivered a unanimous decision, with scorecards of 120-108, 119-109, and 117-111 in favour of the Japanese champion.

Speed, precision, and experience were key to Inoue’s success. Picasso showed the grit that often defines Mexican fighters and proved resilient, but he was never able to seriously trouble Inoue, who dictated the pace throughout.
