Panther fans chant “Let’s go Heat” after advancing to Stanley Cup Final

The Florida Panthers fans are celebrating one big win as they made it to the Stanley Cup, but now they’re waiting on the Heat to make it to the NBA Finals.

Matthew Tkachuk is without doubt the hero for the Florida Panthers as he has been the clutch player throughout the postseason and on Wednesday, scored the third game-winning goal of the playoffs. It came at just the right moment, as usual, with just under five seconds on the clock, sending the Carolina Hurricanes home and the Panthers to their first Stanley Cup Final in 27 years.

The Florida fans were celebrating, but now they have one more final they are waiting on - the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. The Heat were up 3-0 in the NBA semifinals series against the Boston Celtics, but the Celtics won Game 4. They will play Game 5 tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET and a win would send them to the NBA Finals to play against the Denver Nuggets.

Florida is having a great year and the Panthers fans were heard in the hockey rink chanting “Let’s go Heat!” Clearly, they want to have it all this year, and why not?
