Presenter can’t believe how many cans of ‘Good Boy’ John Daly drinks: “Then I go to downtown Nashville and check out the bars”
Fan favorite Daly won two majors in a successful golfing career but is arguably better known for his flamboyant personality, for good and bad.

John Daly has enjoyed a hugely successful career in professional golf, winning 19 tournaments, including five on the PGA Tour and two majors - the 1991 PGA Championship and the 1995 Open Championship.
John Daly: the troubled fan favorite
Yet the 58-year-old is perhaps best known for his flamboyant style, for good and for bad. The colorful clothes, unusually long backswing and booming drives helped turn Daly into a huge fan favorite, although it probably isn’t too controversial to suggest his short fuse and well-documented alcohol problems prevented him from reaching his full potential.
The Californian has claimed in the past he started drinking before the age of 10, has been to rehab twice and once said he had given up whisky in favor of other alcohol because it was interfering too much with his game. Conversely, he has also stated he played his best ever round when drunk.
In recent times, he has become the face of ‘Good Boy’ vodka cocktails, branded as “the perfect combination of natural tea, fruit juice, and our premium Good Boy Vodka with zero carbonation” in a can. A silhouette of him swinging a club and his signature feature on the packaging.
Podcast host shocked by Daly’s drinking capability
Daly was recently a guest on the “Like a Farmer” podcast, which NFL stars Josh Allen and Von Miller have also appeared on. The golfer sank several cans of ‘Good Boy’ with host Pat Spinosa, who was left speechless by Daly’s response to a question about how many of the cocktails he has drunk in one sitting.
“Probably 60-65 in a day,” Daly claimed.
“65 of these?” Spinosa queried in disbelief.
“Yeh, probably, easily," the veteran golfer reiterated.
If you thought that was the end of that, however, then you couldn’t be more wrong.
“What do you do after that? You’re just done after that?” asked the host.
“No, no, then I go to downtown Nashville, check out the bars, listen to music. Drink some more”.
Right on cue, Daly moved swiftly onto the next round. He didn’t get the nickname “Wild Thing” for nothing, after all.
