Promising ice hockey talent dies age 19 in Ibiza following balcony fall
The Dundee Stars player fell from the third floor of a hotel in Ibiza and was touted as a future star of Scottish ice hockey.

Scottish ice hockey is mourning the death of Dundee Stars player Gary Kelly in Ibiza.
According to several media reports, the 19-year-old Kelly fell from a third-floor balcony at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in Sant Antoni de Portmany for reasons that are still unknown. Despite the medical response following the alert, Kelly died from the injuries sustained in the fall.
Shortly after the news of Kelly’s death broke, the Ibiza Rocks Hotel announced the suspension of scheduled concerts at the venue, as this was the second death from similar causes in recent weeks.
