SIGA announces 20 more speakers for Sport Integrity Week 2022
AS director Vicente Jiménez is among the latest participants announced by the Sport Integrity Global Alliance for its annual event.
The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) has confirmed a further 20 speakers who will be taking part in SIGA Sport Integrity Week 2022.
Now in its third year, Sport Integrity Week will be held in a hybrid format - both in-person and virtually - between 12 and 16 September. The in-person element of the event will be hosted by the Municipality of Cascais in the Portuguese Riviera, at the state-of-the-art Nova School of Business & Economics.
Vicente Jiménez, the director of Diario AS, is among the participants announced on Thursday. They also include Javier Tebas, the president of LaLiga, and Maria-Francesca Spatolisano, the United Nations’ assistant secretary-general.
The latest additions to Sport Integrity Week 2022: the list in full
They join previously confirmed speakers such as Andrea Traverso, UEFA’s director for financial sustainability and research; Claus Thomsen, chairman of the European Leagues; Emin Bozkurt, the chair of the EU High-Level Group on Gender Equality in Sport; and Microsoft vice-president and CMO Sandra Lopez.

The motto of Sport Integrity Week 2022 will be “THE INTEGRITY (R)EVOLUTION: Supercharging Positive Change In and Through Sport”.
“This unique global thought leadership event takes place at a watershed time in history,” SIGA said. “Its mission is to unite the global sporting industry, share best practice and find solutions to current and future challenges to enhance sports’ governance, protect Sport’s integrity and ensure sport’s long-term, sustainable development.”
