SIGA announces registration open for Summit on Female Leadership in Sport
Held in New York on 7 March, the Sport Integrity Global Alliance’s Summit on Female Leadership in Sport will take place in an in-person and online format.
The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) has announced that registration is now open for its 2023 Summit on Female Leadership in Sport, which takes place on 7 March. The event will be held in a hybrid format - both in-person and online.

In-person tickets for the summit, which is to be staged at the Mastercard Technology Hub in New York, are available at an early-bird rate of $295 until 10 February. Online passes are free, with the option to make a donation.
All donations will be invested in the SIGA Women programme, a global mentorship scheme for aspiring female leaders in sport.
Founded in 2017, SIGA is a non-profit organisation that works with stakeholders from across the sporting world to safeguard integrity and good governance in the industry. AS is a proud media partner of the body.
Event “will bring together over 100 global leaders” in sport
“The Summit on Female Leadership in Sport will celebrate International Women’s Day and will feature live panels, keynote speeches, and one-on-one interviews with high-profile industry leaders,” SIGA said in a press release on Thursday.
The organisation added: “This international event dedicated to fostering Gender Equity and Female Leadership in Sport, will bring together over 100 global leaders and senior executives from all sides of the industry: sport organisations, governments, international organisations, sponsors, civil society, academia, and media.
“During one action-packed day, delegates will participate in meaningful debates on the most pressing challenges that impact women in the sports industry, both those who are just starting their careers and those who are at the top of their profession.
“Among other relevant topics, the summit will promote discussion on critical issues related to Good Governance, Female Leadership in Action, Athlete Activism, Mentorship, Youth Development and Protection of Female Athletes, and Commercialising Women’s Sport.”
