Sport meets fashion as SIGA and Roberto Cavalli launch women’s leadership lounge
The SIGAWomen Cavalli Lounge will debut during Cannes Lions 2026, bringing senior leaders together to advance gender equity in sport.

The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) has announced a new partnership with Roberto Cavalli to launch the SIGAWomen Cavalli Lounge, a thought leadership initiative focused on advancing women’s leadership and gender equity in sport.
The initiative will debut on June 24, 2026, at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, with an invitation-only event hosted at the Roberto Cavalli boutique on Cannes’ Boulevard de la Croisette.
Founded by the late Italian designer Roberto Cavalli, the Florence-born fashion house is globally known for its bold, sensual aesthetic, pioneering work with leather and denim, and iconic animal prints that helped define luxury fashion in the 1990s and 2000s. The brand’s Cannes flagship, opened in 2011, will provide the setting for the inaugural SIGAWomen Cavalli Lounge, bringing together senior figures from sport and the creative industries.
Discussion around leadership, influence and progress for women in sport
Organised through SIGA’s SIGAWomen Programme, the lounge is designed as an intimate forum for dialogue, reflection and exchange. The evening will feature curated WoW – Women on Wednesdays sessions, aimed at fostering discussion around leadership, influence and progress for women in sport, while drawing on perspectives from fashion and the wider creative sector.
By uniting sport, creativity and design, the SIGAWomen Cavalli Lounge seeks to generate new ideas and reinforce SIGA’s broader commitment to advancing gender equity across the global sports ecosystem.
Katie Simmonds, Chair of the SIGAWomen Council and SIGA’s Chief Commercial Officer, said the partnership reflected the natural overlap between sport and fashion when it comes to leadership and cultural impact.
“SIGAWomen is honoured to welcome Roberto Cavalli as Host Partner for our in-person WoW – Women on Wednesdays session,” Simmonds said. “The brand’s identity, rooted in confidence, creativity and individuality, makes it a compelling setting for conversations dedicated to leadership, progress and influence.
“Where sport and fashion converge, new perspectives emerge. Together, they can act as a catalyst for innovation, visionary leadership and lasting impact.”
Régis Gourtay Gallenne, Store Manager of the Roberto Cavalli boutique in Cannes, said the house was proud to host the first edition of the initiative during one of the world’s most influential creative gatherings.
“Roberto Cavalli has always celebrated women,” he said. “We are very happy to extend that spirit to the professional sport community through this event.”
The SIGAWomen Cavalli Lounge will run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Attendance will be limited, with further details on speakers, agenda and registration to be announced in due course.
