Floyd Mayweather’s history of eccentricities and extravagance is widely known. It is difficult to know how much his fortune amounts to, although based on the boxing legend’s lifestyle and his continuous displays of wealth, it seems clear that he has so much money that he no longer knows what to spend it on.

“I would [rather] have the currency than the legacy, my legacy is already engraved in stone,” Mayweather told the podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game in 2021. “They say, ‘Mayweather’s doing exhibitions, it’s bad for boxing.’ At the end of the day, my mother’s a millionaire, my dad’s a millionaire, my children are millionaires. My little grandson is a multi-millionaire and he don’t even know it.”

And it is Mayweather’s grandson who is at the centre of his latest big-money purchase. A true lover of high-end cars, Mayweather asked his trusted man in automotive matters, Obi Okeke - aka Doctor Bugatti - to include an exclusive, family-focused accessory in his Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a car valued at around $350,000.

The 45-year-old has installed a mink fur-covered child seat for Kentrell, the firstborn of his daughter Yaya and the rapper Youngboy Never Broke Again. Obviously the accessory, which cost Mayweather $18,000, matches the interior of the stunning car, whose range of deluxe details include a star-lined roof.

Mayweather is a renowned car collector, with a garage boasting more than 100 cars of all colours and from manufacturers as diverse as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Range Rover and Maybach, among others.
