SIGA Summit on Female Leadership in Sport

On March 6, the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) will host its Annual Summit on Female Leadership in Sport, bringing together multi-industry leaders from across the global sports industry to champion integrity and gender equity in Sport. The summit will be held in New York City and hosted by one of SIGA’s founding members, Mastercard, at their Technology Hub.

This newspaper has long supported SIGA’s fight for integrity in sport and their battle to put gender equity front and center of the debate, and we are delighted to announce we will be media partners for the summit. In addition to livestreaming the entire event free of charge here on our website, we will be offering coverage of many of the vital issues raised.

At the event Sarah Castro, Director of AS USA, will be moderating the session “The Changemakers: Leading the Sport Integrity Evolution.” Looking forward to the summit, she said: “AS is delighted to continue our work with SIGA, serving as a media partner for their annual Summit on Female Leadership in Sport. Female leadership in sport

Ahead of the Summit, we spoke to SIGA’s global chief operating officer, Katie Simmonds, who said: “This is a summit to display and demonstrate female leadership and expertise on topics such as sports betting integrity, women leading the frontier for the technology evolution.”

“It’s about unlocking the power of networking,” Simmonds continued. “What I love about the summit is that it’s not a dull, typical conference. We’ve had a laughter, cheers and tears in the past. And so it’s a great, feel-good session.”
