The projected Field of 64 for the 2022 CWS
With three weeks left to run on the college baseball season, we take a look at the possible Field of 64 brackets for the 2022 College World Series
We are just over three weeks away from Selection Monday and it is time to start working out the possible Field of 64 brackets. Of course, things will change in these last few days as teams dip in and out of the rankings, but there are a few guarantees in this year’s College World Series.
The golden top eight spots are still in flux as this week sees three new entrants and a few on the cusp who have hard roads ahead of them. Georgia looks solid but still has to face Texas A&M and LSU, plus travel to Knoxville to try their hand against a red-hot Tennessee side.
Here is the way that it is looking at the moment.

It is worth noting that D1 baseball has a slightly different projection, notably with LSU hosting the fourth group and Oregon taking the top spot for the eighth. Some contenders are dropped in either poll, in particular the At-Large Ladder. But with three weeks to play and a very tight middle section, everything is sure to wobble before it gels. The final eight to play in Omaha are likely to remain unchanged throughout, although in NCAA baseball, anything is possible.
