Blue skies, ideal playing conditions and temperatures in the mid 70’s await the 60 strong field at the Kapalua Resort club as the first PGA Tour event of 2025 gets underway on Thursday in Hawaii with The Sentry being a no-cut event.

Reigning champion Chris Kirk is back in action looking to defend his crown.

The 39-year-old was the The Sentry 2024 winner with a card of 67-65-66-65 to finish 29-under par.

This year the 39-year-old will be pushed all the way with the likes of Collin Morikawa, Sungjae Im, (two time champion at The Sentry) Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele all in contention to bag the $3.6 million purse for the winner.
