The White House gets ready for the UFC
The White House gave a sneak peek on social media of how the octagon will look for UFC’s historic 2026 event at the president’s residence.

The White House is gearing up for a landmark occasion. President Donald Trump’s home is preparing to host the UFC, which is planning a blockbuster card for 2026. On its official X account, the government posted a mockup of how the octagon would appear.
“See you in the South Lawn,” read the White House’s post ahead of what is set to be a major event in June 2026, coinciding with the soccer World Cup.

The UFC Octagon is planned to be located on the South Lawn, surrounded by seating for no more than 5,000 people. A large arch will cover the cage to support the lighting rigs.
The setting “will allow camera angles to capture the White House centered in the background on one side,” while the “reverse angle will capture the Washington Monument as a backdrop.”

A brutal fight card
Dana White is going all in. The UFC CEO has already hinted at a “brutal” card, with top MMA fighters expected to appear—including the return of Conor McGregor.
“We’re going to build the greatest card of all time for the White House,” White said on Special Report with Bret Baier on Fox News. “Conor and I have been talking consistently. He wants this fight badly. At his level, he needs new motivations, and the White House event has motivated him completely.”
The Irishman confirmed he will step back into the octagon to face Michael Chandler. In addition, Daniel Cormier has urged Dana White to include Jon Jones on the card. Khamzat Chimaev has also expressed interest in joining.
