These are the prices for McGregor’s UFC return: from $1,500 to $14,500
Despite the high prices set by the UFC, there’s a massive demand for tickets to see the return of ‘The Notorious’.
At the UFC 300 post-fight press conference, Dana White announced one of the fights of the year: Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler in the main event of UFC 303 on Saturday, June 29. After the announcement by the CEO of the world’s biggest mixed martial arts company, the countdown began to see the return to the cage of the most iconic fighter on the planet three years later.
As expected, there’s a gigantic demand for tickets to attend the event, which will be held at the T-Mobile in Las Vegas. The UFC wanted to use this card to set higher prices than the standard ones, as it usually does on big cards which include the biggest stars.
With a capacity of about 20,000 spectators, the T-Mobile Arena has different price ranges depending on the seat locations. To watch the fight from the back row of the venue, fans will have to pay around $1,500 plus management fees. In the front row, however, tickets increase to $14,500 in the most exclusive locations and are around $12,000 in the rest of the perimeter line of the octagon.
Sale against the clock
Despite the high prices set to see the return of the Irishman, the sales rate is impressive. A big part of the seats are already assigned, which can be a problem for resale, as it usually happens at an event of such magnitude as UFC 303.
On the other hand, and almost certainly, many of the events’ best seats are reserved for UFC fighters and legends, Hollywood stars, and other celebrities who will undoubtedly want to be present at such a special event, which can set some records regarding attendance and earnings.
