This is Presleigh Schultz: Meet PGA golfer Akshay Bhatia’s fiancée

Akshay Bhatia had a successful 2024 season with 1 win, 1 runner-up and 3 top-10 finishes. He banked $5.3 million on the course and is looking to improve those numbers this year. Girlfriend Presleigh Schultz will be first to celebrate with him if he can win in Hawaii this week.
How did Akshay Bhatia and Presleigh Schulz meet?
The couple have been engaged since September 2023, two years after Bhatia slid into Schultz’ DMs on Instagram to ask her out. In true golfer fashion, the 22-year-old can be seen wearing a Callaway cap in their engagement photos at a Napa Valley vineyard.
Although the two were complete strangers to one another before Bhatia’s initial social media move, everything that’s happened since then suggests they are a perfect match.
Girfriend turned caddie
Schultz, who is less than two weeks younger than her fiancée, “had no idea what golf was,” claims Bhatia. Yet she caddied for the left-hander at The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2022, a tournament he won by two strokes.
Following his first ever PGA Tour victory at the Barracuda Championship in July last year, Bhatia immediately paid tribute to his then girlfriend.

“She’s been through it all with me. You know I couldn’t imagine my life without her. I couldn’t imagine being on this journey without her by my side... she’s a huge part of this win.
“She had no idea what golf was when I met her. Now she travels every week with me, and it is not easy because it is all about me 100% of the time.
“For her to support me every week and walk 72 holes, I couldn’t imagine my life without her and being on this journey without her. She has done a lot for me.
“She makes my peanut and jelly sandwiches every morning and does a lot. She has seen me cry in the hotel room and seen me super happy. For her to see me here, she always keep telling me how good I am, even if I question myself sometimes.”
Presleigh Schultz’s low profile
Although a visible supporter of Bhatia, Schultz keeps a relatively low profile, despite her significant social media following.
She has almost 95,000 followers on TikTok and 36,000 on Instagram, allowing her to make a living from endorsements and advertising.
Schultz regularly shares snaps of her following Bhatia’s adventures on the PGA Tour. Could she be uploading photos of her partner lifting a trophy once again on Sunday?
