Things are ramping up for the end of the season as players look to get into the FedExCup playoffs and compete for a place on their corresponding Ryder Cup teams.
This is the prize money for the winner at the 2025 Wyndham Championship
The Wyndham Championship is being held at Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina. This presents an opportunity for players outside the top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings to earn a spot in the first of three season-ending tournaments, next week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship. For some players, it’s a chance to build momentum for the Tour Championship at East Lake and for others to get the attention of their Ryder Cup captains.
Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy will be sitting out this event as they rest up after the fourth major of the season and before the FedExCup playoffs. Other big names missing are Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikowa and Viktor Hovland, amongst others.
