Update:

Tiger Woods is a name that is synonymous with golf history. Incredible achievements and impressive comebacks mark his career. However, when it comes to the Ryder Cup, his record is not as remarkable.

Tiger Woods, often considered the greatest golfer of all time, has won 15 major titles, only surpassed by Jack Nicklaus with 18. However, his record for the Ryder Cup is somewhat puzzling, with 13 wins, 21 losses, and three halved matches. Despite his Ryder Cup record, Woods’ significant titles have cemented his place among the elite in the sport.

Although Woods is considered one of the greatest golfers of all time, the Ryder Cup has proven to be a tough challenge for him. Despite participating in the event eight times, Woods has only won once with Team USA, in 1999 at the famous Country Club, Brookline in Massachusetts. The 1999 Ryder Cup earned the moniker “Battle of Brookline” due to the intense competition and memorable incidents. Team USA staged an incredible comeback on the final day, erasing a significant deficit to win the Ryder Cup with a score of 14.5 to 13.5.
